Health officials have confirmed New York's first-ever case of the rare Bourbon virus, a tick-borne illness that currently has no specific vaccine or approved treatment. The patient, a 67-year-old Long Island resident, reportedly became ill after being bitten by lone star ticks while working in his backyard.
